BRIEF: Cameras part of special council meeting [Daily Iowegian, Centerville, Iowa]


(Daily Iowegian (Centerville, IA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sept. 29--The Centerville City Council during their special meeting tonight at City Hall plan to approve the city's street finance report for fiscal year 2014, approve software and City Hall computer purchases and discuss placing cameras on the Square.



Omaha, Nebraska based -- Data Technologies, Inc., providing municipal and utility accounting solutions, is the company the city has decided to purchase new, upgraded computer software programs. The cost of said agreement is an initial fee of $41,395 with annual fees to be billed to the city.

According to information contained in the council's agenda packet, computer and camera quotes will be ready by the time the special meeting convenes.


The next regular Centerville City Council meeting is at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at City Hall.
