Boingo Wireless and MLB Advanced Media Partner to Bring Live Video Streaming of Select MLB Playoff Games in Airports
LOS ANGELES --(Business Wire)-- Boingo Wireless, Inc., the global market leader in Wi-Fi, announces that it has entered into an agreement with MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM), the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, to provide a special offer for its customers to watch select live playoff games in participating airports. TBS, the national broadcast rightsholder for the Division Series and American League Championship Series, is also partner to this agreement.
When at one of the 23 participating airports, Boingo customers will be able to purchase a special four-hour pass to the special "Airport Edition" of MLB.TV to watch every Division Series and American League Championship Series game on TBS live without blackout restrictions and on-demand. Subscribers will also be able to use the pass to watch any regular season or postseason game from the MLB.com archives on-demand. The cost for the four-hour pass is $4.00.

The special offer is available exclusively to Boingo customers only when they access their subscription in a participating airport. When a customer logs in or purchases Wi-Fi access via Boingo, the MLB.TV special "Airport Edition" offer will be presented and airport passengers will be able to watch any Division Series or American League Championship Series game live without blackout restrictions.
