Beijing Mobile Launches Online Customer Service


BEIJING, Apr 01, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Beijing Mobile, the branch of China Mobile in Beijing, lately kicked off its online customer service.

Unlike the hotline 10086 of China Mobile, the online customer service is under another division with different aims. The hotline is a voice customer service system mainly aimed at ordinary users. The online customer service is only accessible to registered users of the service website of Beijing Mobile.



The online customer service system of Beijing Mobile is powered by LIVE800 instant messaging technology, which gives registered users the rights to exchange instant messages with the customer service staff.

In comparison with the voice service, the online service is more efficient by sending users texts and links. Beijing Mobile hopes that the new service will bring its service quality to a new level.


At the moment, the new service is still under trial run. When it will come into official operation is unclear, according to spokesperson for Beijing Mobile.
