BDNA President Walker White Recognized with Bronze Award for Computer Software Executive of the Year in 2017 American Business Awards?

BDNA® President Walker White has been named a Bronze Stevie® Award winner as Computer Software Executive of the Year by The American Business Awards. This recognition is the result of White's driving BDNA to be the leader in delivering the most trusted and comprehensive technology asset information.

The American Business Awards are the nation's premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the United States are eligible to submit nominations - public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration. More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year's winners. The awards will be presented to winners at the 15th annual American Business Awards banquet on June 20 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York.

White was named BDNA president in 2014 after serving as the company's chief technology officer. Through his work, White has led BDNA's overall growth plan, strategy and vision to major successes on several measures. Under his leadership in the past year alone, BDNA achieved record financial growth, opened a major international office and expanded its offerings. As a 14-year veteran of the comany, White plays an essential role in BDNA transforming enterprise asset data by enriching it with market context to vastly simplify integrations, improve decision-making and accelerate business transformation.

"It's an honor to be nominated and awarded this recognition, and it is really an award for the entire BDNA family," White said. "BDNA is committed to providing enterprises with better data for better business decisions. The team's success is truly a testament to the hard work and passion of everyone addressing the challenges of a growing business head-on."

The judges noted Walker's strong leadership in the company's growth. "Making a company profitable is no easy task. Very impressive!" one judge noted. "And he's built a foundation for future growth. Excellent."

"Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. "The 2017 competition was intense, and every organization that has won should be proud."
