The session is titled "Semantic Natural Language Understanding with Spark Streaming, UIMA, and Machine-Learned Ontologies," and will take place Thursday, June 2, at the ExCeL Conference Center in London, Capital Suite 8/9. Talby and Branzan have more than 25 years of combined experience in engineering and data science, with deep practical experience in Apache Spark. Talby holds multiple advanced degrees including a Ph.D. in computer science and a master's in business administration and has led engineering teams at Microsoft (News - Alert), Amazon and now Atigeo. Branzan is a developer and architect with over 10 years' experience in the banking, e-commerce, and healthcare industries and holds a master's degree in industrial intelligent systems. He leads an engineering team that builds, secures, and operates multiple data-driven applications in the cloud for Atigeo.
