[January 07, 2009] ARRIS awarded initial order by Ziggo for certified E-MTAs Tweet Jan 07, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- ARRIS (Nasdaq: ARRS), a communications technology company, announced on Tuesday (6 January) that Ziggo, BV, a cable MSO based in the Netherlands, has placed a large initial order for the ARRIS Touchstone TM702 series of DOCSIS 3.0-certified E-MTAs. Ziggo will reportedly use the in-home devices to market much faster Internet speeds along with carrier-grade Voice over IP service to the top tier of its residential and business customers.
