AppTrigger Introduces the Application Session Controller Advantage Program

RICHARDSON, Texas --(Business Wire)-- AppTrigger, Inc. today announced the Application Session Controller (ASC) Advantage Program - a new integrated program that provides a construct for evaluating current application business models as service providers examine the risks and rewards of advanced network migration strategies.

In today's marketplace, service providers are faced with a number of migration strategies for growing next-generation (NG) and IMS networks. Whether the goal is to build out a new IMS infrastructure or migrate old and new applications across multiple networks like TDM and IP, the process can require a large investment of time and money. The ASC Advantage program is designed to mitigate the risks by identifying cost-reducing and revenue-enhancing opportunities made possible through the use of the Ignite(TM) Application Session Controller.

Service providers are given an introduction to the cost and revenue benefits of extending current revenue-producing applications to next-generation networks and bringing new applications to existing customers on existing networks. Through the examination of case studies and specific ROI examples, the ASC Advantage evaluation process brings critical decision criteria into focus by detailing the TCO advantages and ROI benefits to be realized through the use of certain application and network resources.

"A detailed look at the capital and operational costs, coupled with expected revenue streams, shows opportunities to leverage both existing and new investment to positively impact the bottom line," says Ronald Gruia, Principal Analyst of Emerging Telecom with Frost and Sullivan. "With the realities of a competitive marketplace, business case justification for IMS, and the ongoing need to retain subscribers and increase ARPU, AppTrigger's ASC Advantage Program provides a means to assess how best to tackle these core business issues."

"Until now, the decision of costly re-writes and the repurchase of applications for new networks has been a cost of doing business. Through this program, we look forward to working with service providers to directly address the core business drivers that have long hindered the application landscape," says Patrick Fitzgerald, SVP of Global Sales and Marketing at AppTrigger. "With the ASC Advantage Program, we will be able to give service providers direct results and actionable plans to lower costs and increase revenues."

AppTrigger's Ignite(TM) ASC enables service providers to extend the reach of existing IN applications by porting them to NG networks and making new NGN applications available to customers on legacy networks. The goal of the assessment program is to identify new revenue opportunities for existing applications while also reducing the risk of launching new applications on NG networks, effectively capturing ARPU on both existing and NG networks. Service providers can contact AppTrigger directly to discuss participation in the ASC Advantage Program.
