Apple iPhone 6 Got China Network Access License

(Sinocast Computers & Electronics Beat (China) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BEIJING, September 30, SinoCast -- China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued a network access license to Apple Inc.'s mobile phones.

MIIT also entrusted China's authorized information security testing institution to conduct a strict security testing on Applie's iOS system and the testing result showed there is a possibility that three background service procedures can be maliciously used.

MIIT made an interview with Apple on this issuance and put forward related security management requirements. Apple submitted a formal material, saying the three background service procedures are diagnostic tools and Apple will not be allowed to intervene in any information without approval from users.

Meanwhile, the company has taken measures in iOS8 to allow users to clean up the name list in computers authorized so that it is harder for malicious use of diagnostic tools.
