Andersen Tax Promotes First Class of Managing Directors in Seattle


SEATTLE --(Business Wire)--

Andersen Tax announces the promotion of Jan Armstrong, Scott Beauchene and Lance Vanetta, part of the Private Client Services Practice group, Valuation Services Practice group and State and Local Services Tax group respectively. They will join a team of five Managing Directors in the growing Seattle office. This announcement follows the September 2, 2014 news that Andersen Tax (formerly WTAS) acquired the rights to the iconic brand name Andersen and would rename itself Andersen Tax.

Jan Armstrong joined the Seattle office of Andersen Tax as a Director in August 2008. She has over 25 years of tax experence. Jan provides tax consulting and compliance services to high net worth individuals and families, and their associated businesses and investment entities.



Scott Beauchene has over 24 years of valuation experience including valuations of enterprises, partial interests, debt, complex financial instruments, and specific intangible assets. He serves large private and public companies, middle-market firms and emerging closely held companies. He participates in a wide variety of valuation engagements for financial statement reporting, tax planning and compliance, litigation and shareholder disputes and strategic planning. Scott provides customized client solutions in an industry often characterized by service providers with a commodity mindset.

Lance Vanetta has over 21 years of tax experience in a broad variety of tax matters. He has expertise in starting and running a multi-level/functional tax department for public companies as well as early stage start-ups, resolving state tax audits and negotiating tax settlement agreements with state and local agencies, preparing refund claims and appeals with various state and local jurisdictions and preparing ruling requests regarding state statutory interpretations and regulations.
