Alpha Software to Participate in Boston App Expo Event

Alpha Software Corporation today announced that VP Research and Development Kurt Rayner will present a session titled "Cloud Computing in a Mobile World" during the Boston App Expo, an event designed to inspire, grow and connect app development professionals, being held September 24-25 in Boston, Mass. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn best practices for leveraging Alpha Software's Alpha Anywhere application development and deployment environment.

Cloud computing is a much-hyped topic, but there is often significant value in using a cloud-based system of servers rather than setting up a private data center. This can be especially true for start-ups. At the same time, cloud based servers may be too complicated, expensive and even risky for some applications. During this session, Kurt and attendees will develop a working definition of "Cloud", discuss the services available, key vendors and what they offer as well as the risks, benefits and types of cost encountered for cloud-ased implementations.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in product demos, in which Alpha Software Director of Customer Solutions Dion McCormick will teach best practices for leveraging Alpha's low-code Alpha Anywhere application development and deployment environment to save time in developing apps without limiting power. Attendees will learn how to use Alpha Anywhere, and will gain insight into the features and capabilities of the product. During these interactive sessions, Dion will be available to provide mentorship and answer attendees' questions. Participants will receive a free six-month license for Alpha's solution.
