Allianz Life Hires Paige Vinall as Assistant Vice President Application DevelopmentAllianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life®) hired Paige Vinall as assistant vice president of Application Development in the IT division. In her new role, Vinall leads the company's technology strategy and business systems for variable annuities, fixed index annuities and sales. She is also responsible for developing the Allianz Life e-commerce strategy as well as the delivery of projects, solutions and IT services that support the company's technology solutions. Vinall reports to Chief Information Officer, Jeff Palm. "We are pleased that Paige is joining Allianz Life as we continue to expand IT solutions for our products," said Palm. "With the experience she brings, we will establish and maintain a high level of client confidence in our business platforms to meet their expectations." Vinall has more than 25 years of technical and leadership experience. Prior tojoining Allianz Life, Vinall was a technology manager for Wells Fargo in Minneapolis where she directed the performance of the consumer lending group which supported the middleware components for a loan product portfolio of nearly $2 trillion. Prior to that, Vinall was vice president of Legal Technology with Thomson (News - Alert) Reuters in Eagan, Minn. where she implemented large-scale, multimillion dollar offerings for the legal market in the United States and Canada. During a 9-year tenure at US Bank in St. Paul, Minn., Vinall held multiple leadership roles as an application development manager, head of information security and a senior vice president. Before that for more than 13 years, she held a series of technical roles with IBM (News - Alert) in San Jose, Calif. Vinall holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in computer and information science from the University of Delaware in Newark, Del.
