Acme Packet Updates on 8th Annual User Conference

Apr 17, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Acme Packet, a provider of session delivery networks, released the agenda for Interconnect 2012, the company's eighth annual user conference, it was announced.

According to a release, Interconnect 2012 features presentations focused on the market landscape, technology trends, and best practices by industry experts and key customers and partners. The conference also features in-depth, hands-on demonstrations of new solutions and Acme Packet's vision for session delivery networks as part of the next-generation of IP-based communications.

Highlights of Interconnect 2012 include sessions on how Acme Packet is helping shape the next generation of communications, such as LTE and cloud; the latest GSMA initiatives and outlook for voice over LTE and rich communications suite; and advancements in session management and session recording technologies that are revolutionizing enterprise and IP contact center capabilities.

Additionally, Acme reported that featured speaker Art Schoeller of Forrester Research, Inc. will review his new research on the Total Economic Impact of session border controllers and discuss trends in SIP trunking, unified communications, and voice over IP (VoIP) in the enterprise.


Interconnect 2012 also includes a solutions showcase, featuring live demonstrations and detailed sessions on a range of technical topics including: best practices in network operations and management, VoIP security, interactive session recording, and development platforms for integrating real-time voice communications into web enabled business processes, CRM platforms, and call center software.
