AceProject: A New Project Management Web App for Mobile

Websystems, Inc. announces a mobile version of its web-based project management software, AceProject.
AceProject celebrates its 10th anniversary with the launch of a smartphone/tablet friendly project management web application. AceProject Mobile is a lightweight version of its older brother, AceProject. "Multi-platform compatibility is a part of our philosophy. We didn't want to offer iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry apps. We put all our efforts on one web app that works on all mobile devices," says Michel Bourbeau, graphic designer and web integrator at Websystems. In fact, AceProject Mobile works on most mobile browsers, on most mobile devices (iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Phone and Android-powered devices, as well as iPad and Android-powered tablets). With new mobile devices released every other week, Websystems prefers platform and device independence.
"I was shocked at how things went fast. We started the project and, in a matter of weeks, it was online. I'm really proud of my team," states Daniel Raymond, Websystems' President.
Among other features, AceProject Mobile enables users to view, sort and mark their projects, as well as view, search, sort and edit tasks.
Websystems raised the bar by adding document management features to AceProject Mobile. Actually, documents can be downloaded, locked/unlocked and shared. "Document management is an essential part of AceProject, and although this feature may seem a bit overkill for use on a mobile device, we think AceProject isn't AceProject without document management," says Andre Brassard, web developer at Websystems.
