Call Termination  

Definition:

Call Termination using LRN-Location Routing Number (recipient switch). That is, caller dials a ported-out mobile telephone number served by another switch. Call Termination using LRN-Location Routing Number (roaming switch). That is, caller dials a ported-out mobile telephone number that is currently roaming. For US ANSI-American National Standards Institute, the Origination and Destination Point Code is a segmented 24-bit (3 octets) packet format. The first 8-bits are the Network Identifier, followed by an 8-bit Network Cluster address, followed by an 8-bit Network Node address (switch) in the Cluster. The International Telecommunications Union standard is 14-bits unstructured (not segmented like the ANSI format).
