Kony Appoints New Latin America Leader


Kony, Inc., the leading enterprise mobility company, today announced the appointment of Guilherme Bujes as vice president and general manager of Latin America. In this new role, Bujes is responsible for executing sales strategies, operations, and go-to-market initiatives to grow market share, while driving customer satisfaction in the Latin America region.

Gartner predicted that the number of mobile payment users in Latin America would grow to 22.31 million by 2016. To help support this explosive growth, Bujes will focus on delivering quality service to its growing base of enterprise customers in the region.

Bujes has served in a variety of senior leadership and consulting roles across Latin America, leading sales and channel groups at some of the most recognized organizations within high tech, including EMC, SAP (News - Alert) and HP. Prior to joining Kony, he served as sales director of EMC for the Global Professional Services group in Latin America. In this role, he was responsible for the successful expansion of EMC's (News - Alert) Consulting and Residency services business in the region.
