Connect First to Participate in the 2013 Tour de Cure

Connect First will be heavily involved in the 2013 Tour de Cure. Several Connect First employees will participate in the event. Connect First's cycling team, the Free Wheelers, are committed to raising money to help in the battle against diabetes. "We are committed to ride and raise money in this inspirational event," said Amanda Riu, Connect First CTO. "For many of us this event is personal, because we have friends and family with diabetes, and want to do something about."
The Tour de Cure has raised more than $26 million dollars in 2013 to help find a cure for diabetes and help improve the lives of people living with diabetes. Over 65,000 riders and one million volunteers have offered their time and resources to make this event possible.
