Idox Group's Consultee Access seminars increases planning engagement with South Downs National Park Authority(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Idox Group (Idox) has successfully delivered a series of seminars to assist South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) in demonstrating the benefits of electronic consultation using Idox's Public Access and Consultee Access software. As the first of their kind, the seminars took place throughout one of the UK's largest planning authorities. Both training and further insight on how to improve communication between SDNPA, individuals and organisations, who expressed an interest in the planning process, was provided. Many consultees attended including councilors, parish clerks and staff from various local authority departments such planning, environmental design, conservation, housing, roads and highways. Some seminars were hosted online to attract additional consultees from societies such as The Petersfield Society to the NHS including NHS Sussex. Each seminar highlighted the benefits of electronic consultation and provided training on how the system can be used to gain immediate efficiencies. For example, councilors can gain quicker and easier access to review planning applications in their wards.
