IBM PureFlex and SmartCloud Entry selected by Zetark to speed up cloud deploymentMay 20, 2013 (WORLDWIDE COMPUTER PRODUCTS NEWS via COMTEX) -- Information technology company IBM (NYSE: IBM) announced on Friday that French Managed Services Provider (MSP) Zetark will deploy its enterprise cloud storage services on PureFlex running IBM SmartCloud Entry. Financial details of this deployment were not available. IBM said that its PureFlex provides Zetark with a fully integrated set of server, storage, network and management resources allowing it to provision new environments for customers rapidly and at low incremental cost. As a result of this new solution, Zetark has reportedly been able cut the typical customer deployment time from two months to just two weeks. Also, PureFlex delivers extremely low power consumption and allows customers to deploy virtual servers in just 30 seconds. In addition, IBM announced that it is expanding its support for open standards in the Cloud computing market with the latest version of IBM SmartCloud Entry.
