OnSIP to Present on Hosted Unified Communications at This Year's Spring Channel Partners Conference and Expo

New York, New York, Feb 22, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Business VoIP provider OnSIP announced today that CEO Mike Oeth will be presenting on hosted unified communications on February 27th, 2013 at this year's Channel Partners conference and expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. The presentation, entitled "Selling Techniques for Hosted UC" will be held at a networking luncheon beginning at noon in Marco Polo Room 706 at the Venetian Convention Center.

According to the report "Global Hosted Unified Communications Market 2011-2015", by Infiniti Research, the current market space is dominated by vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco Systems, and AT&T. However, OnSIP hopes to present the growing number of software as a service (SaaS) solutions offering integrations and mashups that provide competitive value to the end user.

"The hosted unified communications space is expected to grow dramatically in the next few years," explains Oeth, "At this time, the majority of UC solutions are proprietary products aimed at enterprise customers; as a result, they're out of reach for small to medium-sized businesses. I'd like to shed light on an open alternative: integrations between hosted communications platforms and 3rd party applications. Companies and end users can get a powerful and flexible solution at a fraction of the cost." OnSIP has a history of offering hosted UC. First introduced in 2008, their my.OnSIP communications dashboard combines voice, XMPP chat, click-to-call, and voice mailbox management in the web browser. Other examples include an integration with Highrise, a popular CRM tool, that logs all inbound and outbound calls in the application, and a mashup with support ticket software Zendesk and voice transcription service Phonetag that automatically turns voicemail messages into support tickets.

"By partnering with hosted providers that open their systems to integrations, channel partners have a unique opportunity to deliver added value to their end-customers," says Oeth.

Channel Partners Conference and Expo remains the only networking and educational event in the communications industry dedicated to indirect sales. This year, over 3000 channel partners are expected to attend.

All Channel Partners Conference and Expo Spring attendees are invited to the networking luncheon "Selling Techniques for Hosted UC" upon sign up; however there is limited space.
