FreedomVoice Customers Donations Make Difference for Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego

San Diego, CA, Jan 10, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- FreedomVoice, one of the largest US providers of cloud-based VoIP phone systems, today announced the success of an ongoing partnership with Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. Beginning in January of 2012, FreedomVoice gave new customers an opportunity to donate $1 with their monthly service bill to The Campaign for Rady Children's. All donations go to help Rady Children's to provide the most comprehensive care, advanced technology, and to discover cures to childhood diseases.

Since the partnership began, FreedomVoice has been overwhelmed by the generosity of their customers - more than one-fourth of all new customers are participating. To date, 3,906 customers have contributed to the program totaling a sum of $10,248 donated to Rady Children's Hospital. With a 20 percent annual growth rate, FreedomVoice anticipates that by December of 2013, their customers will contribute $47,264 to children and families in need of care.

"I'm blown away by the charitable contributions of our customers," said FreedomVoice CEO Eric Thomas. "It's heartwarming to know that through their actions, children will receive the care and treatment that they need." As a safety-net hospital, Rady Children's mission is to "restore, sustain and enhance the health and developmental potential of children through excellence in care, education, research, and advocacy." Part of making this mission a reality is not denying care to uninsured children whose families cannot afford treatment. Donations like those from FreedomVoice customers make it possible for every child to get the treatment they need.
