Elvis Has Left the Building -Jaguar Freight Services Has Arrived

VALLEY STREAM, N.Y. --(Business Wire)--

Jaguar Freight Services, a leader at designing and operating custom transportation systems and strategies for world class supply chain management, has relocated its London-based European Center of Operational Excellence (COE) to the completely refurbished former Elizabeth Arden factory in Acton, London - a location made famous in pop culture by rock giant Elvis Costello, who worked there during the 1970s.

The London COE is home base for the Jaguar Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) regional organization, headed by Alan Baldwin (Director of Operations). Its operational responsibility includes the company's Paris and London offices, plus a network of agents in nearly 20 countries throughout the region. The London COE team oversees Jaguar Freight's integrated door-to-door freight solutions throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East, featuring the company's proprietary CyberTrax™ online information tracking system as the cornerstone of a transportation management infrastructure that coordinates every phase of the supply chain process.

"Even though Elvis Costello's 'I'm Not Angry' lyrics called the old location the 'vanity factory,' Jaguar Freight's move to new state-of-the-art offices at The Perfume Factory is anything but vanity - it has real and tangible benefits for our customers," said Simon Kaye, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar Freight. "The creative office space design will facilitate both our own operations and our ability to interact effectively for the companies we serve. As we launch the new international version of our Advance Shipment Notifications (ASN) online portal for inbound shipment tracking, and increase our UK-based sales force, The Perfume Factory's ability to accommodate expanded technology and personnel will provide a real advantage."

"There's also symbolic importance for Jaguar Freight in this move," Kaye continued. "Our company provides custom approaches to meet the complex supply chain requirements of leading cosmetics, health and beauty companies. One of the key leaders in our global sales organization, Jonathan "Griff" Griffith, is former Director of Purchasing at Elizabeth Arden who is one of our most prestigious clients. The new London COE office thus creates a full-circle synergy, one that illustrates our strength as a service provider that understands the freight requirements of diverse industries."

Jaguar Freight emphasizes service and reliability as cost drivers throughout its global organization, which encompasses COEs in the Americas and Asia/Pacific as well as in Europe. Complete and timely delivery is the company's ultimate measurement of supply chain performance. The London COE will utilize the unique combination of CyberTrax™ and the full range of our CyberChainTM suite to enhance a transportation management system that coordinates every phase of the supply chain process, giving shippers assurance that their transactions will be fully transparent and operationally efficient.

"The London COE will be a hub for our expansion of international trade lanes, such as a growing interaction with Saudi Arabia from our European, Asian and American locations," Kaye concluded. "We believe innovative logistics leadership and innovative operational effectiveness go hand-in-hand, and are proud of what our new location in The Perfume Factory will do to enhance our capabilities."

Throughout its global organization, Jaguar Freight provides fully integrated door-to-door supply-chain solutions, which its customers experience through their proprietary CyberChainTM suite real time, online information and supply-chain management systems. The company has a global client list that ranges from blue chip multinational corporations to small specialist businesses, and offices in London, New York, Paris, Hong Kong and Shenzhen. www.jaguarfreight.com.
