Recently, Alvarion (News - Alert) announced important improvements to its Alvarion Partner Program and Portal.


 
The Alvarion Partner Program and Portal have been specifically designed to Empower the company's Partners by offering the advantages of a partnership loyalty program, along with complete sales and marketing tools.

 
The company's Partner Program can help Channel Partners maintain a competitive edge in the market, whether the user is looking for accessible knowhow, global best practice sharing, valuable sales tools, or ease in doing business.
 
Alvarion's latest upgrades include new partnership options, incentives, online certifications, deployment modulation tools and more. According to the company, all these upgrades offer numerous business development opportunities and resources, and help the partners provide a distinct sales advantage.
 
This also ensures Partner success, the company has stated.
 
The company has also announced that that is introducing a special Expert Partner program, created for highly specialized system integrators. These integrators have expertise in installing complicated wireless broadband networks in specific vertical markets.
 
"The new portal was designed to provide tangible business value to our partners and tools that enable them to gain a competitive edge," said Gal Biran, VP Channel Business at Alvarion. "Our goal has always been to empower our partners and allow them to tap into our and each others' areas of deep domain expertise, and we are pleased to deliver new enhancements that continue to build on this overall strategy."
 
Recently, the company was selected by Internet Technologies Group (ITG) of Africa to upgrade the broadband services provided by its subsidiaries. According to the agreement between the two companies, Alvarion offers wireless broadband connectivity for three of its subsidiaries: Internet Technologies Angola, Internet Technologies Namibia and Internet Technologies Zambia.
 
The wireless connectivity provider assists Internet Technologies Angola in advancing its network from Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD).
