CDW Adds New Talent to Leadership Team


VERNON HILLS, Ill. --(Business Wire)--

CDW (News - Alert), a leading provider of technology solutions for business, government, education and healthcare, today announced it has augmented its marketing leadership team with three new hires. Andrea Bradshaw joins CDW as senior director and general manager of CDW's Mobility Solutions group; Joe Woods joins as director, operations and ecosystem development within Mobility Solutions; and, Jim Mitchel joins as senior director, marketing communications and advertising.

The new executives reflect CDW's investment in the growth of its IT solutions and services capabilities. The expansion of the mobility solutions team reinforces the company's commitment to provide world-class mobility solutions to its more than 250,000 business customers across North America.

Bradshaw brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and product development in the technology industry to CDW. Most recently, she was vice president of new business development, solutions and operations for Brightstar (News - Alert) U.S., a leading wireless distributor and global services company. Bradshaw was one of Brightstar's founding officers and helped the company become the world's largest specialized wireless distributor. In her new role, she will lead CDW's mobility business, developing and executing integrated strategies that leverage CDW's expansive capabilities in the mobility space to meet the evolving needs of business leaders and IT decision makers.

Woods comes to CDW with more than 20 years of experience in the mobile industry. Previously, Woods served in senior sales and marketing roles at two mobile software startups that were acquired by RIM and Nokia (News - Alert). Previously, he headed up the North American handset portfolio for Motorola and served as vice president and general manager at AirTouch/PrimeCo PCS. Woods will lead the ongoing development and optimization of CDW's mobility strategy and collaborate with sales and product teams on client solutions and services.


Mitchel joins CDW with more than 30 years of experience in global marketing and product management at Fortune 100 companies and startup corporations. Prior to CDW, he served as vice president of marketing at SK Telecom (News - Alert), a leading telecommunications company, as well as general manager of yesWell.com, a startup owned and operated by SK Telecom. In this new role, Mitchel will work with the Marketing Leadership team to market CDW's growing suite of IT solutions and technology product portfolio. He will also oversee marketing communications programs and agency partners, provide counsel to CDW's solution and segment management teams, and lead the implementation of marketing communications and brand management strategies across the organization.
