Market Maker Surveillance Report. FSTC, DELL, BRCM, CSCO, CYTK, SLIO, Bullishly Biased Price Friction For Wednesday, November 14th 2012

Nov 15, 2012 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 3704 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1312 companies with positive Friction Factors and 4666 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bullish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices rose. First Corp (OTC:FSTC), Dell Inc (NASDAQ:DELL), Broadcom Corp (NASDAQ:BRCM), CISCO SYSTEMS INCORPORATED (NASDAQ:CSCO), Cytokinetics Inc (NASDAQ:CYTK), Solo International Inc (OTC:SLIO). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction FSTC $0.013 23.64% 1,410,089 39.27% 2,180,580 60.73% -770,491 Abnormal DELL $0.170 1.81% 17,419,346 44.80% 21,334,689 54.87% -3,915,343 Abnormal BRCM $0.530 1.73% 4,280,740 45.20% 5,178,071 54.68% -897,331 Abnormal CSCO $0.820 4.87% 45,989,738 47.84% 49,611,211 51.61% -3,621,473 Abnormal CYTK $0.040 6.19% 1,271,221 32.10% 2,688,884 67.90% -1,417,663 Abnormal SLIO $0.025 31.25% 80,123,454 44.49% 91,494,614 50.80% -11,371,160 Abnormal Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more selling than buying on Wednesday and their stock prices rose. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows FSTC with 770,491 greater shares of selling than buying (NetVol) and the stock price was up $0.01300. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more selling than buying should cause prices to drop.
