Vendormate Eliminates Paper- and Email-based Contract Editing
Atlanta, GA, Sep 26, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) --
Vendormate Contract Manager's latest release allows for faster, secure document transfer back and forth through the redline process, enabling a quicker negotiation. Buyers can now request contracts and other contract-related documents from vendors directly through a secure platform.
"Emailing contract edits is cumbersome and insecure," said Mike Paris, Vendormate's Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions. "Document transfer via FTP is much more secure because only authorized users have access to the site."
These latest enhancements save time by streamlining the contract editing process and by automatically filing the final electronic version into Vendormate Contract Manager.
To do this, buyers invite vendors to upload contract drafts and other documents via FTP. The buyer reviews and comments. The vendor can log back into the FTP site, review and comment as well. When the negotiation is complete, the site is closed and the final documents are automatically integrated into the system.
Vendormate Contract Manager is a secure online application to manage, track, and store contracts and associated documents. The system allows buy-side users to compile key data associated with their contracts and to monitor the contract terms that define how they conduct business with their suppliers.
Vendormate Contract Manager is integrated with Vendormate Credential Manager, which provides buyers more insight into their suppliers' financial and legal health and helps them ensure they are only working with valid business partners.
Vendormate bridges healthcare providers and suppliers to ensure both sides know more about who they are doing business with today and who they should do business with tomorrow. Vendormate's relationship with over 1,600 healthcare facilities and 55,000 vendors creates a vast vendor information network that integrates with all Vendormate services. Vendormate Contract Manager is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application that gives healthcare buyers increased transparency and control over their essential vendor relationships.
