Crushpath Adds Call-and-Transcribe Feature to Its Sales Software, Powered by Twilio
(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/19/12 --
Crushpath (www.crushpath.com), the new way for salespeople to control a deal from lead to close, announced today the integration of Twilio (www.twilio.com), the market leader in cloud communications, into Crushpath's real-time, play-by-play sales software, allowing one-click calling, activity creation, and text transcripts.
Now salespeople can click to call a prospect or customer directly from the Crushpath platform and the call is automatically recorded and saved. Crushpath creates a real-time in-progress call activity that allows the user to notate the call and have the results of the conversation be automatically transcribed.
The Crushpath platform provides salespeople with a single view into the play-by-play of each deal as it unfolds, so they can see and do everything they need to get a deal done. Now phone history joins other relevant deal information from email, CRM, marketing software, notes, files, news, and social media to filter the noise and only surface the most important contextual content as the relationship unfolds.
"It's not 1999, are you seriously going to ask salespeople to waste time taking retrospective notes of what happened in their phone calls It's time to put the power back in the hands of the people who create business," said Sam Lawrence, Crushpath co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. "Our Twilio integration now frees tons of busy-work time so salespeople can focus on what they do best: sell and close."
"Communications are a vital component of every successful sales deal, from initial calls to follow-ups and beyond," said Jeff Lawson, Twilio co-founder and CEO. "Using our APIs, Crushpath has elevated the simple yet powerful effectiveness of its platform with new voice capabilities that are easy to use. Crushpath is a great example of a company reinventing the future of communications and business operations."
The initiate and transcribe a call feature will be available early October in the Crushpath platform. Crushpath is offered for free to individuals.
