F-Secure Updates Internet Security

Sep 19, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- F-Secure has launched the newest version of its flagship PC solution F-Secure Internet Security 2013.

"Our aim is to provide the safest online experience for our customers and we continue to receive industry accolades confirming our dedication. We are proud of our achievement," said Perttu Tynkkynen, director, Consumer Sales and Marketing at F-Secure, in a release.

According to a release, among key updates, F-Secure Internet Security 2013 now supports Google Chrome. A redesigned firewall comes with additional filters and works seamlessly in home and public networks. F-Secure's updated protection technologies ensure the best protection and fastest response against all threats. The new version will also support the upcoming Windows 8 operating system.

F-Secure Internet Security users will also receive automatic updates for new beneficial features throughout the year. As an example, the upcoming new banking functionality will secure online banking sessions and further improve protection against unknown banking Trojans.

Other products for computers in the F-Secure protection solution portfolio are F-Secure Anti-Virus and F-Secure Anti-Virus for Mac.

F-Secure is simultaneously releasing a new version of its F-Secure Mobile Security with a totally renewed and smooth user experience for Android devices.

Consumers can also purchase F-Secure Mobile Security and F-Secure Internet Security 2013 as a bundle to protect computers, smartphones and tablets with the same purchase.

F-Secure Internet Security 2013 and F-Secure Mobile Security are now available through reseller partners and F-Secure eStore globally.
