Top 5 Companies in the Alternative Carriers Industry With the Highest Return on Equity (PGI, IRDM, TWTC, CCOI, SAAS)

Sep 14, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Below are the three companies in the Alternative Carriers industry with the highest return on equity. The ROE is a general indication of the company's efficiency; investors usually look for companies with ROEs that are high and are growing.Premiere Global Services ranks highest with a ROE of 10.6%. Iridiummmunications is next with a ROE of 7.0%. tw telecom ranks third highest with a ROE of 6.7%.

Cogent Communications follows with a ROE of 1.1%, and inContact rounds out the top five with a ROE of -25.3%.
