iCIMS acquires Jobmagic

Sep 11, 2012 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- iCIMS, Inc., a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition software solutions, has acquired Jobmagic, Inc., a provider of social recruiting solutions. Both the companies are based in the US.

Deal Rationale The acquisition will enable iCIMS to strengthen its social media expertise, allowing the company to accelerate development plans for enhanced functionality across its product suite of Connect, Recruit, and Onboard solutions. For iCIMS customers who are already using the company's Social Distribution product, this transaction will promote tighter integration with the graphical user interface (GUI), enhanced reporting features and new referral tracking capabilities.

It will also enable iCIMS to market, sell, and support its Social Distribution as a standalone product to companies that seek an independent solution for social recruiting without applicant tracking functionality and are looking to dramatically improve candidate reach through automating job distribution and employee referral programs across social networks.
