UNIQUE ID Released Relevant Media Publishing Platform "Compact.ly"

Unique ID, Inc. (Kunihiro Maeda, CEO) has announced today the release of
the "Compact.ly(http://compact.ly/)",
a relevant media publishing platform which converts Issue Oriented
Social Networks into Global Intelligence.

Currently, there are many Web clipping services and storage services
existing on-line, but the information that accumulate is continuously on
the increase, while keeping up their organizing just cannot catch up
with the speed of the increase. Compact.ly not just collects the
informaton, nor just summarizes them but will compactify the complex
contexts into a card-type information unit coined "Fragments", enabling
a scheme for Collaborative Editorials and individually relevant
distribution "to quickly understand and share the Context".
For a example, even though the critical global issues are difficult to
acknowledge as an close-by issue, and is difficult for the individual to
understand how a person can possibly contribute.
"Compact.ly" is designed to comprehend the issues that are complex that
require specialist knowledge covering many areas, and are tied closely
with politics and economy in a short period and in depth, to discover
the way for contributing that match the individual's own values and
lifestyles.
For the release, this time, only the interface for information input for
users mainly using the PC browser has been released, however, Fingertip
Search functions using Semantic Spatial Access Methods and Multi-dimensional
Click Wheel linked to recommendation engines for use in Multi-touch
interface tablets.
The solution will be made available in SaaS (News - Alert) form, for introduction of
corporate CSR activities, and for public utility foundations and
university public relations sites from this fall, followed by a low fee
ASP service which will be available to NGOs and research organizations
and local government units before the end of the year.
Unique ID, Inc. was founded in 1998. The company released "Interest
Community", a SaaS engine for commercial clients. They were awarded the
"Good Design Award" in 2001. In 2006, CEO Maeda was awarded the Web
Creation Award from Japan Advertisers Association for his contribution
