Broadview Wins Mitel Diamond Partner AwardAug 24, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Broadview Networks, a provider of hosted voice, data and cloud computing solutions, has earned a Diamond Partner Program Award from Mitel, a supplier of business communications and collaboration software and services. According to a release, the Diamond Award, an honor given only to Mitel's top performing partners, honors the outstanding business performance and sales success of partner companies throughout the course of the fiscal year. "It's an honor to win a 2011 Diamond Award," said Brian Crotty, Broadview's chief operating officer. "Our partnership with Mitel allows us to combine their state-of-the-art IP phones with Broadview's patented OfficeSuite system, providing our customers with unsurpassed flexibility, reliability and value in a cloud-based phone solution." Broadview said OfficeSuite is its cloud-based phone solution that provides businesses of any size with an IP-based phone system, unlimited nationwide calling and a website to manage services. It delivers a complete communication solution, including IP phones, features and call center applications, all without any capital investment, maintenance contracts or additional IT resources. Because OfficeSuite is used in conjunction with Mitel's IP phones, the Company said the two companies have established a program that allows authorized Mitel partners to receive credit from both Mitel and Broadview Networks for OfficeSuite sales. Not only can Mitel partners receive recurring commissions and upfront payments from Broadview, they also receive quota credit under their Mitel contracts when selling OfficeSuite and are able to complete the installations themselves. This double-credit program allows for value added resellers (VARs) to sell OfficeSuite while simultaneously fulfilling their Mitel partner commitments.
