Accentia launches latest iPad version of EMR softwareMay 29, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Accentia has launched instaKare ChiroPAD v 2.01, the latest iPad version of its EMR software for Chiropractic specialty. The iPad based navigation system in the instaKare ChiroPAD enables a physician complete his SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) quickly. The product's web based architecture makes it 100% mobile and could be accessed through devices like laptop, iPad, Android based tablets, smart phones etc, the company said. It may be recalled that last year, Accentia became one of the few early birds to offer SaaS (Software as a Service) services using online-hosted applications for physicians. Its SaaS suite designed to cater to physicians practices includes software products, technology and services incorporating the ONC-ATCB (Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body) certified Electronic Medical Records (EMR) called instaKare, comprehensive Practice Management System and integrated Receivables Management module addressing the Coding, Billing and A-R follow up areas. Accentia's recent launch of the instaKare ChiroPAD v2.01 will give the Company's marketing efforts in the US to grab a substantial share of the industry in the Chiropractic area. Accentia has installed SaaS (Software as a Service) delivery suite at few of its existing clients to mark its nation-wide launch in the USA. The suite includes Electronic Medical Records (EMR) module, plug-ins for traditional and speech recognition based transcripts, discreet transcription, Practice Management module, Electronic Coding and Billing modules and collection module for traditional and through electronic clearance houses. http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
