Games.on.net and 3FL to merge(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 16 May 2012 Release date- 16052012 - iiNet and Internode have announced that a single, comprehensive games portal will be launched to offer gaming enthusiasts the ultimate experience by combining the best features of existing entities, games.on.net and 3FL. The new portal, which will retain the games.on.net name, will incorporate all the games servers, files, staff and community of 3FL while providing a Voltron-like entity of immense power that will deliver a huge range of new unmetered content in both directions. 3FL's extensive range of games servers and Freezone content, including Day[9]Daily casts are now quota-free for Internode customers, while iiNet customers can now enjoy quota-free access to games.on.net's enormous range of files, patches, demos, game servers and regular editorial content. Stephen Harley, iiNet's Chief Product Officer, said the merge demonstrates the great benefits that come with increased scale. 'By combining iiNet and Internode resources and staff, we can offer the latest news, reviews and interviews plus more than eight terabytes of files, trailers, mods and patches and a 10,000 player capacity,' Mr Harley said. 'The best bit is that all servers, files and content will remain in place so it'll be an easy transition for our customers.'
