AudioCodes Supplies Polkomtel with VoIP Gateways and IP Phones for its Contact Center

(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 03 May 2012 Release date- 02052012 - Lod, Israel - AudioCodes (NasdaqGS: AUDC), a leading provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and Voice Network products, today announced that Polkomtel S.A., one of the largest mobile operators in Poland with more than 14 million subscribers, has selected AudioCodes' Mediant 2000 VoIP Media Gateways and 310HD High-Definition IP Phones to enable high quality, reliable VoIP connectivity for its Genesys-based IP contact center locations.

'AudioCodes' hardware fully met all parties' expectations for Polkomtel's project for the gradual migration of its multisite contact center from a traditional telephony system to a next generation IP solution based on the Genesys SIP Server platform using VoIP technology,' said Konrad Lelonek, Project Manager at Qumak-Sekom, a leading system integrator in Poland that implemented the overall solution at Polkomtel. 'Now, using AudioCodes Media Gateways, the IP contact center infrastructure can interface seamlessly with the PSTN and communicate with the remaining legacy infrastructure. In addition, all Polkomtel's contact center agents are now using AudioCodes 310HD IP phones for their everyday work.'
