A recent survey of 225 banks nationwide revealed the top priorities for financial institutions, addressing everything from significant growth challenges to cloud-based IT outsourcing. Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI) Managed Services Division and cbanc Network conducted the survey to discover the main priorities among financial institutions for the next 12 months. The top two challenges financial institutions face? Compliance and loan growth.

 
The survey also garnered opinions on mobile banking adoption, security and IT investments.
 
-- Mobile banking with mobile alerts is well on its way to adoption with 77 percent offering, planning to offer or considering offering this year.
-- Nearly 78 percent are most concerned about external attacks, while 33 percent are most concerned about mobile users.
-- 90 percent of respondents cited plans to invest the same or more in technology in 2012 with the majority, 47 percent, planning to increase investment.
