On April 27 and 28, HDR Remodeling is a sponsor of The Heart of the Home Tour benefiting the Children's Support League of the East Bay. The Heart of the Home Tour is a tour of some of the newly remodeled homes in the Piedmont and Oakland area. The Children's Support League supports non-profit agencies in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties that serve at-risk children. Since 1986, the proceeds from the Tour have enabled CSL to award more than $2.7 million in grants to programs supporting disadvantaged children in the East Bay, including $186,000 to 25 organizations in 2011.

Also, on April 21 and 28, Philip Anderson and Jim Tibbs of HDR Remodeling have volunteered to be house captains for the upcoming work day for Rebuilding Together Oakland. Rebuilding Together Oakland brings communities and volunteers together to repair the homes of low income homeowners in Oakland so they may live in safety, comfort and independence.
