SMSC uses Hansong (Nanjing) Technology to deliver low latency, lossless KleerNet wireless audio streaming technology

Semiconductor company SMSC (NASDAQ: SMSC) announced on Tuesday that it is working with commercial audio company Hansong (Nanjing) Technology Ltd to bring SMSC's low latency, lossless KleerNet wireless audio streaming technology to the market.
Hansong (Nanjing) Technology Ltd is providing reference designs to SMSC for a range of applications including soundbars, subwoofers and wireless speakers.
According to SMSC, its KleerNet technology provides a choice of KleerNet-enabled audio products from various consumer brands for use in the home, office or portable applications. Wireless audio products that incorporate KleerNet technology include 5.1/7.1 surround sound home theatre systems, sound bars, sub-woofers and headphones, as well as gaming and VOIP headsets. KleerNet wireless audio products are designed to be compatible with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth traffic, as well as support multi-band RF, low latency and high bit and sampling rates.
SMSC's JukeBlox platform also offers popular music applications along with the industry standard Ethernet and Wi-Fi interfaces.
