Allot receives USD4m order from Latin American operator

Apr 06, 2012 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Allot Communications Ltd (NASDAQ:ALLT), a supplier of service optimisation and revenue generation solutions for fixed and mobile broadband service providers, on Thursday announced that it has received an initial order from a Tier 1 Latin American fixed/mobile operator.

Valued at approximately USD4m, the order is from one of the world's five largest telco groups, the company said.

Included in the order is the deployment of multiple Allot Service Gateway platforms which are intended to provide improved quality of experience. The deal includes real time measurement of services such as VoIP quality, coupled with adaptive policy provisioning to guarantee optimised quality of experience over various network conditions.
