David Wagenseller, Acting CEO of Network Equipment Technologies, to Comment on Company's Recent Actions and Near Term Strategy

FREMONT, CA, Apr 02, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. ("NET") (NASDAQ: NWK), a leading provider of enterprise-class networking solutions optimized for secure real-time communications, announced today that David Wagenseller, Acting President and CEO will offer his comments on the company's recent restructuring and his near term strategy on a conference call and simultaneous webcast later today.

The live conference call and webcast will be made available to all interested parties. Due to the timing during the company's quiet period for the fourth quarter and fiscal year end, there will be no open question and answer period following David's remarks. NET expects to report results for the quarter and fiscal year 2012 in early May.
