Actuate Inks Strategic Alliance with Megazone to Extend Presence in Korea

Actuate (News - Alert) Corporation (NASDAQ:BIRT), "The people behind BIRT"^® and the leading open source Business Intelligence (BI) vendor, today announced a strategic alliance with Megazone, a leading provider of IT and business transformation services. Under the alliance, Megazone will promote the use of Actuate's value-added products for BIRT (Business Intelligence Reporting Tools), including ActuateOne^®, among organizations in Korea.

The alliance will allow Actuate to leverage Megazone's market presence to support the growing number of ActuateOne deployments and BIRT developers in Korea. The relationship will also address selling opportunities and increase overall awareness of Actuate in the Korean market. Megazone has embraced Actuate and BIRT into its Business Intelligence practice to deliver a larger breadth of offerings to its customer base.
