Shatter-Resistant, BPA-Free Glass Drinking Bottle Comes to Market

PURE Glass Bottle, Inc., has produced a shatter-resistant and clear-coated, reusable glass drinking bottle that can't break, is BPA free due to its FDA-approved coating, and is dishwasher safe.

Developed by Walt Himelstein, an environmental chemist with over 23 years experience in the environmental chemistry industry, the 17.5-ounce PURE Traveler and 25-ounce PURE Explorer bottles also mark the beginning of the new start-up of PURE Glass Bottle, Inc., a small business that is committed to promoting the concept of a "New Green Economy" and the "American Entrepreneur Rebirth."

This patent-pending glass drinking bottle uses a special coating technology that physically holds both the liquid and the broken pieces of glass in case the bottle is broken when considerable force is used on it. This means that there is no mess to clear up and no broken pieces to gather.

"This is the only reusable glass drinking sport bottle on the market that provides 100 percent surface transparency to see the liquid contents and is 100 percent dishwasher safe," said Himelstein.

He further added that the company wanted to offer the reusable drinking bottle market a pure, clean and safe alternative to the hazards of drinking from plastic and metal bottles on the market today, ensuring that consumers had the option of drinking from glass, even on the go, without being bothered by a possible broken bottle and a liquid mess to clear up.

Cathy London, vice president of Sales and Marketing., said that the PURE Glass Bottle is BPA free, and convenient and large enough to consume beverages or juices even while in motion.

Describing the 25oz Explorer, London said that it has a curvy hour-glass single-piece bottle design with an opening to drink from that is large enough to add lemon wedges and ice cubes.

PURE Glass Bottle is targeting the hotel, natural food store, and specialty retail store markets with high volume.
