Purdue Research Foundation Teams Up with Techshot to Help Promising Technology Firms

Recently, Purdue Research Foundation and Techshot Inc. together announced their partnership on a program which is intended to speed up the development of promising technology companies. This is done by exploiting Techshot's unique technology commercialization capabilities.
 
Purdue Research Foundation is the manager of the four-site Purdue Research Park network. Techshot is a company in Greenville, Ind. that is well known in the field of product and technology development. These companies plan to jointly synchronize precise technology evaluation, product development, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) services to support Purdue Research Park-based entrepreneurs.

 
In a release Joseph B. Hornett who is the Senior Vice President, Treasurer and COO of the Purdue Research Foundation said that 'The foundation and Techshot have a proven track record in providing entrepreneurs with the essential facilities and services to be successful. Our goal is to expand the services even further by collectively providing more opportunities to entrepreneurs, and, in turn, promoting the growth of high-tech companies in Indiana.'
 
These services are aimed at harmonizing the current lineup of advisory services that are made available to Purdue Technology Center companies by means of its Purdue Portals program. By building connection between product research and commercial application, these superior service offerings are designed to step up new business growth.
 
According to the latest partnership, officials from Techshot will attain office space in the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana. Techshot is also expecting office space in the Purdue Research Park locations in Indianapolis, West Lafayette and Merrillville. IKOTECH, Techshot's first spin-off, was the first company to move into the Purdue Technology Center of Southeast Indiana in New Albany
 
Techshot is a full-service product and technology development company. The company specializes in custom mechanical, electrical, and software solutions for the engineering or science-related challenges that are faced by industrial, commercial, government, and institutional clients. The main services offered by the company are research & development, design reviews, feasibility studies and prototyping.
