Dozens of Vendor Announcements on Tap at ITEXPO West 2009

Los Angeles, CA – Sept. 1, 2009 – Technology Marketing Corporation today announced that dozens of exhibitors are planning on unveiling new products and services at ITEXPO West 2009, taking place this week at the Los Angeles Convention Center.


 
“The collection of IT-buyers, resellers, distributors and media that attend ITEXPO make it the perfect launch platform for exhibitors to unveil new technology and announce new services & alliances,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC president and conference chairman.  “This week, we’re looking forward to seeing dozens of new and innovative IP-communications-based technologies on the expo floor.” 

 
Below is a sampling of the news announcements being made this week at ITEXPO:
 
  • 8x8, Inc. (booth #401) – is announcing the addition of a new web-based conferencing service to its existing portfolio of business communication offerings, for small to medium sized businesses.
  • Aastra (News - Alert) (booth # 212) - is announcing a new version of it DECT handsets, a new Wi-Fi phone, and its new Aastra Hi-Q audio technology, which provides enhanced voice clarity for Aastra’s 67xxi family of SIP phones.
  • Aculab (booth #512) – is announcing support for video in its Prosody family of media processing products
  • Apex Voice (booth #409) – announced an alliance with CallWare Voice Technologies to develop converged communications services for customers in Spain, Portugal and Greece.
  • BrightCom (booth # 202) - is launching Lumina Telepresence (News - Alert) and unveiling the new L37, which integrates telepresence with web conferencing functions for instant communication.   
  • FaxBack (booth #435) – is announcing a partner program for its new VoIP plug-in for Microsoft Fax, which brings the popular Microsoft desktop fax solution into the VoIP realm for the SMB market
  • HD Communications (News - Alert) Corp (booth #632) – is introducing new In-Wall Wireless Access Points, which solve wireless range problems in residential homes, hotels, schools and businesses around the globe.
  • Interactive Intelligence (booth # 413) - is announcing its Interaction Process Automation (IPA), which helps companies increase process efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • MegaPath (booth 629): announced that Renaissance Tile & Bath is utilizing MegaPath’s Duet service to deliver voice and data capabilities for its retail showroom in Alexandria, Virginia
  • Mera Systems (booth #434) – is announcing fall ‘09 initiatives, including an upgrade to its VoIP product portfolio, an enhanced version of MVTS II, and new class 4 and 5 features for its wholesale and retail operators.
  • PAETEC (News - Alert) - (booth # 407) announced that it is offering its IP Simple Solutions product – which includes SIP Trunking, High-Speed Internet, VPN services, IP-PBX & phones - to markets where Dynamic IP voice service is available. 
  • PhoenixSoft (booth #633) – is announcing a new data center solution for broadband telephony and IT applications.  PhoenixSoft has designed and built a new facility in Phoenix, Arizona, to provide outsourced services, such as co-location, managed hosting, and 24/7 technical support. 
  • Pulse (booth #308) – is announcing that it has added TelcoBridges Media Gateways, Telecom Development platforms and network Monitoring products into its portfolio.
  • Stratus Telecom (booth #  529) is announcing an upgrade to the billing and enterprise modules of its ENTICE VoIP and converged services platform for wireline, wireless and broadband service providers.
  • Taqua (booth # 428) announced that LaWard Telephone Company and Middle Point Telephone Company have chosen the Taqua 7000 Switching System to replace their legacy Siemens DCO switches. 
  • TelcoBridges (booth #624) – is announcing two new Tmonitor network monitoring solutions that enable service providers to collect data used to create and sell new revenue-generating LBS applications.
  • Telecom Brokerage (News - Alert) Inc. (booth #313) is demonstrating a new VAR service model designed to increase revenue streams through new Network Services.
  • Xorocom (booth # 107) – is announcing a partnership with OrecX to offer a free open source utility that records calls from both hardware (PSTN) and software (IP) sources, with caller ID and destination extension information.
