Social Media Executives from Allstate, H&R Block, The Home Depot, Mayo Clinic, Procter & Gamble, Walmart, Sharpie, and the US Coast Guard to Share Case Studies at BlogWell

CHICAGO --(Business Wire)--

Eight of the largest companies in the world familiar with the challenges of corporate blogging and social media will be presenting case studies at BlogWell on January 22 in Chicago.

Social media executives from Allstate, H&R Block, The Home Depot, Mayo Clinic, Procter & Gamble, Walmart, Sharpie, and the US Coast Guard will discuss how they engage fans, create content, deploy internal social media tools, handle BtoB blogging, and work with agencies.

The Chicago event is the second of its kind, following the initial BlogWell in San Jose last October where representatives from companies such as Alcatel-Lucent, Allstate, Charles Schwab, Cisco Systems, eBay, FedEx, Google, Graco, The Home Depot, HP, Humana, IBM, Intel, Intuit, Kaiser Permanente, Mashable, Mayo Clinic, Meritage Homes, Nokia, Oracle, Orange, PayPal, Petro-Canada, Progressive Insurance, RE/Max, Sage Software, SanDisk, Siemens, Sony, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, TiVo, Tyson Foods, UPS, VMware, Wal-Mart, Wells Fargo, Weyerhaeuser and Yahoo! joined in the social media discussions.


Past case studies have focused on video blogging (vlogging), using blogging to build brand trust, allowing employees to engage independently in social media, using Twitter as a customer service tool, disclosure policies, social media monitoring, managing the quickly changing technology of social media and connecting with hundreds of millions of customers.
