[November 25, 2008] Integral Systems Europe signs yearly renewable contract to support EUMETSAT's Polar Mission Control System Tweet Nov 25, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Integral Systems Europe (ISE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Integral Systems Inc (Nasdaq:ISYS), a developer of satellite communication systems, declared yesterday (24 November) that it has signed contract to support the Polar Mission Control System (MCS) for a period of over 15 years with the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT), to be renewed every year. A The MCS, in operation since October 2005, was delivered as a subcontract to Thales Alenia Space and has four systems at two different sites. This long-term agreement is a direct contract with EUMETSAT. A EUMETSAT is an intergovernmental organisation with 21 European Member States and nine Cooperating States, based in Darmstadt, Germany. EUMETSAT is operating the geostationary satellites Meteosat-8 and -9 over Europe and Africa and Meteosat-6 and -7 over the Indian Ocean, Metop-A and the Jason-2 ocean altimetry satellite. The data, products and services from EUMETSAT's satellites contribute to weather forecasting and monitoring of the global climate. A Financial terms were not disclosed.
