4G Wireless Evolution Expected to be the Top Online Resource and Leading Live Event Covering the Next Generation of Wireless Technologies

Norwalk, CT, (October 30, 2008) — Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®) today announced a partnership with Crossfire Media (CFM) to form 4G Wireless Evolution, the most complete resource of Web sites, events, and other media dedicated to providing information on the next generation of wireless technologies.

The partnership will help address a growing need for information regarding the next generation of wireless, and will feature two new products – a new 4G Wireless Evolution Web site and a 4G Wireless Evolution Conference & Expo.

The 4G Wireless Evolution Web site can be found at www.4GWirelessEvolution.com; while the event Web site is www.4GWE.com.

4G is the fourth generation of wireless communications, which is expected to be implemented globally in the next 2 - 5 years, and which will offer significantly faster speeds and broader applications than current wireless networks can allow. The result will be an influx of new technologies and a significant increase in the number of customers using wireless communications for a wide variety of uses.

“With the current 3G networks, we have already seen a tremendous number of new applications and technologies, along with a huge increase in the number of consumers using these applications – but that is just the tip of the iceberg,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC (News - Alert) President. “With the onset of 4G we are anticipating new and revolutionary technologies and uses of wireless communications that will have wide reaching impacts on our lives.  And as a result, there is a definite hunger for information and a need for networking among individuals and companies working to find the solutions to make the next great wireless technologies. We are confident that the 4G Wireless Evolution family of sites and events fills that need.”

“With the cellular industry being saturated, gaining market share will require technological changes that match the communication needs of tomorrow”, said Carl Ford (News - Alert), Crossfire Media VP. “The opportunity goes beyond the choice of a phone.  Right now the consumers are buying smart phones to reach web 2.0 applications, but new wireless networks present opportunities to integrate computing, communication and social networking solutions into our daily lives with a variety of rich media enabled devices”.

The 4G Wireless Evolution website, www.4Gwirelessevolution.com, launches today and features the latest 4G related news, articles, blogs, product reviews, and other resources to provide users a wealth of information on this emerging technology.  The content of the site will be provided through original content from both TMC’s editorial staff and CFM’s team of experts, as well as relevant news feeds. The site will be hosted on TMCnet, the largest Web site in the communications industry with as many as 3 million unique visitors and 40 million page views per month.

The 4G Wireless Evolution Conference is the first event dedicated to 4G technologies, and will take place February 2-4, 2009 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

4GWE (www.4gwe.com) will feature dedicated educational sessions created in a joint effort between TMC’s editorial staff and CFM, along with an exhibit area with companies showcasing products and solutions.  The event will be collocated with TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, which is the world’s largest and best-attended IP Communications tradeshow.

Registration for the 4G Wireless Evolution Conference is now open. Limited booth space is still available as well. Vendors interested in exhibiting at the show or advertising on the 4G Wireless Evolution Web site should contact Dave Rodriguez (News - Alert) at 1-203-852-6800, ext. 146 or at [email protected] or Scott Kargman at 516-808-1991 or at [email protected]
