The West Coast's Only Color Forecasting Service Becomes the First to Allow Designers and Retailers the Opportunity to Customize Their Own Color Palettes Online

LOS ANGELES --(Business Wire)-- Los Angeles based color forecasting service Design Options, announced the launch of their interactive website and online store design-options.com today. The website debuts in conjunction with their one-of-a-kind "DO! Customize," custom color purchasing concept. This unique online environment allows designers, manufacturers and retailers to pick and choose their own custom color stories from palettes across multiple categories and seasons.



Traditionally, color service firms have offered only complete color story books that are designated into specific categories such as men's, women's and children's and home. While still maintaining this full-story format, Design Options has now become the first color forecasting company to provide an a la' carte style palette purchasing option across multiple divisions.

With Design Options' new online service, "DO! Customize," designers, manufacturers and retail buyers can create color stories with 3 simple steps.


1. Customers pick color palettes online across five major categories including: Young Missy, Junior/Contemporary, Young Mens, Home Furnishings and Kids.

2. For more choices customers may then select seasonal palettes from the categories they've chosen which include: Early Spring, Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter.

3. Once all palettes are chosen, customers can purchase their completed book right on the design-options.com website.

Sude admits her job is not simply to inspire, but merchandise what she predicts to be "commercially viable," color choices for products her clients will decide to manufacture or purchase. With that central focus "DO! Customize," was launched after careful consideration about the evolvement of the color industry as a whole.
