Charlie Lesko Joins MaxLinear as Vice President of Worldwide Sales(Market Wire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) CARLSBAD, CA, April 3 / MARKET WIRE/ -- MaxLinear, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company at the forefront of developing digital CMOS broadband radio frequency (RF) ICs for consumer markets, today announced it has appointed Charlie Lesko to the role of Vice President of Worldwide Sales. This marks the beginning of a new corporate growth and market share expansion initiative for the company. He will report to Dr. Kishore Seendripu, MaxLinear's CEO. Mr. Lesko joins MaxLinear from AMI Semiconductor, where he spent five years as AMI's Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Strategic Marketing. In that position, he played a key role in significantly growing revenue and market share. Prior to AMI, Mr. Lesko was at Broadcom Corp. where he served as Vice President of North American Sales and acting Vice President of Worldwide Sales. In addition to this experience, Mr. Lesko has an extensive sales and marketing background in the semiconductor industry. Previous positions include Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Axcelis Technologies and various executive positions in sales at Teradyne.
