Comstar Chooses Airspan's Mobile WiMAX Solutions for Its Nationwide Armenian Network

announced today that COMSTAR -- United TeleSystems (COMSTAR-UTS) (LSE: CMST), the leading supplier of integrated telecommunication solutions in
Russia and the CIS, has chosen its Mobile WiMAX solutions for deployment in
the Armenian capital, Yerevan, in addition to eighteen other major cities
in Armenia. Airspan will supply Cornet-AM, a subsidiary of Comstar, with
its HiperMAX base stations and related CPE equipment in the 3.6 - 3.8 GHz
frequency band which will allow Cornet-AM to offer its customers internet
access and VoIP with Mobile WiMAX.
