His previous experience includes having served as President and CEO of Network Intelligence, acquired by EMC for $175 million. As President and CEO of Stargus, he led the company's sale to C-Cor, Inc. With EPiCON, Sweeney served as CEO, brokering the company's acquisition by Nortel Networks for $450 million. As CEO of Bell Atlantic Network Integration, he grew the organization from a regional network services division into a $330 million company.
